Creation Digest features a series of pithy
one liners from the
pen of Dr. Wesley Kime, a retired Ohio physician, who confronts "Evo"
head-on!
A brilliant
scientist, talented portrait artist, his insightful thoughts deserve
feature status. Here are some of his observations:
-
Evolutionists
always say Evolution, not Evolutionism, as if it isn't an –ism, and
Creationism, not Creation. But it's Evolution that's the 'ism. It's
Creation, period; no –ism about it.
-
PBS Evo-documentaries
like to say things like "Evolution bestowed the brain upon the
ameba." Evolution didn't. Evolutionists did.
-
So who bestowed
the brain…Evolutionists or the Creator?
-
When Creationists
say God gave man a brain, it's credit where credit is due. When
Evolutionists bestow brains upon the ameba, it's credit squandered,
but isn't that what Evo is all about?
-
I once asked an
Evolutionist astronomer why he was looking for microtubules and not
God. "I'm a scientist, and science can prove microtubules, not
God." You know, something's really, really weird about that.
-
OK, so God can't
be proved, but surely Intelligent Design can be.
-
Maybe Intelligent
Design isn't really needed to conjure infinitely complex enzymatic,
genetic, physiological, molecular, and cosmic systems from nothing,
but beautiful ones? Only Intelligent Design Plus could have made a
backlit cloud, a butterfly, an orchid, a swan, a woman so beautiful.
-
But there is
indeed an instrument, a very sensitive one, to measure the existence
of God. It's called The Mind. No, not simply faith.
-
God likens
humanity to His bride, living (eventually if not now) happily ever
after. Evo's bride sighs, "is that all there is?"
-
Where would
Creation be without God? Where would Evolution be without fossils?
-
Evidence for
Creation is found in everything growing and living. For Evolution,
in fossils.
-
It's Evo that's
fossilized, not Creation.
-
Evolution
evolves. Creation creates. So how could Evolution evolve the
creative spirit?
-
Creationists say
man was created in the image of God. Evolutionists evolved in the
image of microtubules. Likewise the minds of created and evolved
man.
-
Evolution was
supposed to evolve ever more superior creatures, like us. But it
turns out, or so Environmentalists now say, we are the ultimate
enemy of nature, maybe even of Evolution itself. What hath Evolution
wrought!
